Most schools use Microsoft software, especially secondary schools, and so it is useful to have the same software at home, especially once children start transporting their projects and homework between home and school. However it can be expensive. The full Microsoft Office package costs over £500 in PC World!
We are therefore very pleased to provide you with access to the latest software packages at more acceptable prices. By buying through The Basement, you can purchase Microsoft packages at up to 90% savings.

Be sure to read the FAQ section regarding licensing etc. One small point to be aware of, if you purchase the Office Student Edition, the licence is for 1 computer only, unlike the Retail version which allows installation on 3 computers. However if you have children heading towards secondary school, you should consider the full version, which includes Access database, as this is used in ICT at CGSE level.

· Size samples are held at the school for parents to try before they order.

 

Please note that as size samples are held at the school, we are unable to accept exchanges/ refunds for garments that have been name tagged. Please use the facility at school to try garments on. This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

Some sizes, in certain items, are still available at the school, and for that reason they will not be visible on the web shop: as soon as they run out at school, we will make them available for sale.
