AIMS

1. To explore an understanding of the Christian way of life and Christian values.

2. To develop moral thinking and encourage children to become responsible citizens, to show care and respect to all people and all things.

3. To provide equal opportunities for all and to support and challenge the development of every individual in our school community.

4. To provide a broad and balanced curriculum, where expectations of achievement are high, cross curricular activities are provided and work is differentiated to meet the needs of the individual.

5. To give children an understanding of their own culture to help explore, in a positive and enlightening manner, the diversity of other cultures.

6. To help children develop lively and enquiring minds to become motivated learners.

7. To encourage children to take pride in their work, their school and the community and to celebrate individual achievement.

8. To give children the skills to become self-disciplined and self-critical, independent learners.

9. To provide a safe, happy and stimulating atmosphere which encourages children to learn effectively and give of their best at all times.

10. To provide a well ordered and attractive environment which children will take pride in and contribute towards.

11. To explore and develop ways of building upon the positive relationships already established with children, staff, parents, governors and community.
