Welcome to Great Wishford C.E. Primary School.
Great Wishford Church of England Primary School is a happy, hardworking school community located in the picturesque village of Great Wishford.
Our aim is to create a learning environment where children are challenged and supported to reach their unique potential and become successful, lifelong learners. Great teaching and learning are at the heart of our school, ensuring every child develops the resilience to keep trying, the confidence to believe they can reach their goals and pride in themselves and who they are. Our teaching and learning is underpinned by our Christian Values and our Ethos.
It is my pleasure and privilege to be the Headteacher of Great Wishford Primary School. Our dedicated staff and governors have the highest aspirations for all our children and are committed to nurturing and developing children’s learning. We are all very proud of our school community.
If you would like to visit us, we would be delighted to show you around. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit.

Mrs Barnard was incredibly proud of her Year 1 Owl's story writing this week. So much so in fact, that they all received the English Star award at Friday Celebration!
One of our Hedgehog pupils has so enjoyed this term's Art topic 'looking at the colour and designs used in Indian murals' that she spent last weekend designing her own. These are just a few of her beautiful works of Art 🎨🦔👩🎨
